On November 17th 2009, Dahlson Industries welcomed executives and upper-level management from the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) to tour their Calgary facility.

The BDC Team consisted of Jean-Rene Halde, President and CEO of BDC, Michel Bergeron, VP Corporate Relations, Wellington Holbrook, Senior VP Operations Prairies and West Region, and Steve Brown, VP & Area Manager Southern Alberta.

The Business Development Bank of Canada is a Crown corporation dedicated to assisting entrepreneurs and their small to medium sized businesses in growth and development. The BDC has been partnered with Dahlson Industries since 2003, offering consulting and financial services to assist in the continued expansion of the company.

This was part of a two day excursion to Calgary by the BDC representatives in which selected successful BDC affiliated businesses were visited. Dahlson Industries executives Greg Peterson, CEO, and Christine Lundahl, COO, were then invited by the BDC to the Hyatt Regency to participate in a discussion with twenty other successful entrepreneurs to determine key success factors to surviving and flourishing through the current economic recession.
